What is an FD Calculator?
An FD Calculator estimates the interest and maturity value of a fixed deposit from the amount, interest rate, tenure and compounding frequency you enter.
With a fixed deposit, you place a sum with a bank or post office for a set period at a fixed rate. Interest is usually compounded quarterly. Senior citizens often get a higher rate. Interest is taxable and TDS may apply above the yearly limit, which this estimate does not deduct.
